The Importance of Chameleonic Acting
I think the thing about Kendall that frightened me was with this character, there's nowhere to hide. I've always sort of seen myself as a character actor and the kind of work that I'm most excited by and inspired by is really chameleonic acting and transformational acting. There's very little that's embellished or embroidered or adorned in this character. You do a massive amount of work. And so the challenge with this role is to really inhabit it. He's a titan externally, but one that can be reduced to a stuttering small child by the president of his father, that Kryptonite.
