Sufism and Illuminationism

Sufi philosophy and mysticism came together in the writings of Ivan Adabi. Sufism will remain important still later, exerting influence not only on Safavid thinkers like Mula Sadra but also in the Ottoman and Muhul empires. Illuminationism is the brainchild of another great figure of the 12th century named Sukhravadi. This is something else we are going to explore in episodes to come.
