India's carbon emissions will peak in 2040-45, and its net zero target is set for 2070. The near-term target that India has set for itself is for the year 2030. And that is towards reducing carbon emission intensity to its GDP by 45% from its 2005 levels. So carbon intensive sectors such as cement and steel would face some decarbonisation challenges but they won't be substantial.
