The Chain of Custody of Evidence in Criminal Trials

If attorneys can impeach the chain of custody, they may be able to get their clients declared innocent. Of the five eucharistic miracles we're considering, i would argue that we don't have perfect chains of custody on them. The worst is the lanciano miracle which allegedly occurred in the seven hundreds but earliest document describing its history is from 900 years later. All we really have is the physical art iffact itself.
