How to Plant Succession Seeds
i am a walking example of how not to do this, because it happens. The idea is that you grow little and often - let's stick with lettuce. A seed you sow in february will take twice as long to germinate than one planted in may. So therefore, o you're staggering. You need to build in that time factor and allow for it. But earlier in the year, you have this time lag when you have an awful lot of seedlings that are not yet big enough to plant out. Or if you sow them direct, weather turns horrible, an it gets frosty or icy. Om this year in april, we had 20 days below freezing here
