Colonel Sanders sold Kentucky Fried Chicken for $2 million in 1963. By 1964 there were 900 locations, and according to the Encyclopedia.com, it was the largest fast food franchise in the US then. The deal ensured that Sanders had a lifetime annual salary of about $40K. Later in life, Colonel Sanders found great sauce in the church. And he donated a lot of money to the church. He wrote extensively about God's silent support on his autobiography.
