We Need More College Educated Republicans, Right?
Julian Zelizer: The left is in a catch 22. You almost have to vote democratic for democrats if you're going to be responsible, because that's where all the college educated, professional people are. If we really want to get a clean state labor la reform, or e reform, environmental review and other big things, they're probably going to have to come through the republican party. And part of this deep institutional hangovera overhang is partly because of the separation between political actors actually implumenting policy, and the foundations which can just keep doing the same thing forever.
