Contra Dancing - What's the Difference?
I love the Contra Dancing thing. Like, it's so fun to do and the musicians, the level of musicianship is really high in that world. It's actually interesting because the main bandmate, as much as possible when I tour is Chris Vodolaro, who plays drums on the albums. And he also plays a lot of other multi instrumentalism. So both of us have this background of playing for people dancing...it's a really deep thing to do. You can't look in a concert, you can just play like some slow random thing for a minute and people spaced out. That’s not happening to dance, right? You have to keep them up.
