The Experience of Meditation

The experience of contemplation in itself is not like other experiences that we are familiar with. We can speak about the experience of meditation, or the experience of contemplation that it leads to. But we have to be very careful about using that word 'experience' because it's of a different kind. And we can see the experience in the effects that it has on our life and relationships and environment. I think this is suggested in the Catholic theology of grace. The grace is not a kind of interference of God in human affairs. It works through nature and respects nature,. That means our psychological nature and our physicalnature.
