Omega Sub Zero - How to Apply It to a Diaphragm Design

A lot of engineers do this one wrong, whether it's applying it to everything or applying it to all diaphragm designed. So what i'm going to suggest to you here to day is that there's three primary places you need to apply omega sub zero to your force. The first one is a candalevered column system. Anything that supports a discontinuous wall or frame needs to be designed for omega sub zero forces. And then the third big one is collector elements. You may call them drag elements, but this one is a little different. But a collector element would be a an element we're using to drag more force into a sheer wall, for example.
