There's no ransmo control trial on this at all. Valpuric acid is kind of lypophylic, so it's going to potentially stick to activaty charcoal. Depending on the formulation, especially some of the sustained release, or extended release, may take quite a long time to absorb. If you can kind of purce the bowel and potentially stop that, that could be pretty beneficial. We'll talk about this war in the chapter on opioid intoxication.
