I just honestly don't even know or care if Moriarty's alive in series five regardless he's involved. John is being heavily manipulated in series five I just know it because the great game is such a pivotal episode that will eventually be symmetric. There are some allusions to the parasite which is a book from Arthur Conan Doyle called The Parasite and it is about a woman who is mind controlling people into doing things that they wouldn't normally do. One of her outfits that she's wearing has has fun fungal has fungas is on them, one of my meds also points out that Mary is possibly doing some mind control. She wears like a different shirt at the end
