I think there's a lot to be said for looking at your own life and living your own life. Camus once apparently said, you will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. Voltaire said, cultivate your own garden. He who knows he has enough is rich. So I think all of these are the same thing rather than looking for what you don't have that you think will make you happy,. try to understand what you do have and how to be happy with it.
