The Four Subtypes of Parental Attacks
The parental attacks are often random, intense, cruel, without often any clear cut provocation. Usually X causes Y, you're pretty much able to find that as you work with people from a therapeutic perspective. Children start to automatically think that they are at fault and can become shame, depressed, and secure,. Even dissociate and become hyper vigilant. As adults, these individuals have significant difficulties in the relations with themselves - physical illnesses, and even develop PTSD.
