How Does Path Integration Work in the Hippocampal System?
The Losers lab is trying to understand this part of the inputs it's called the entoronal cortex and specifically what's called the medial entorona cortex. A lot of work since the discovery of the great cells has really led to the idea with lots of strong evidence that this medial entoronal area is heavily involved in this path integration process. So one thing we wanted to understand is how exactly that works and how does path integration work in the hippocampal system.
