The Importance of Offering
Father Mike: Christ's sacrifice present on the altar makes it possible for all generations of Christians to be united with his offering. So we're offering actively that sacrifice, but we're also allowing our lives, our praise, our sufferings, our prayer, our work to unite with those of Christ and with his total offering. "It is no longer you who live, but Christ who lives in you," he says.
