The Prisoner Swap in Yemen Is Another Sign That Things Are Moving in the Right Direction

The warring sides in Yemen agree on a major prisoner swap that will release over 800 detainees. The Houthis said that they agreed to release 181 prisoners, including 15 Saudis and three Sudanese. In exchange, the Saudi back government will release 706 people. And this deal was brokered by the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross. It comes as the Saudis and the Houthis are engaged in separate negotiations that are being mediated by Oman to bring an end to the conflict.
