What Is the Acceptable Year of the Lord?
Some translations translate the year of the Lord's favor, the acceptable year of theLord. When Jesus quotes Isaiah 61, he is actually quoting another scripture. It was actually referencing something that Moses said when he gave the law. He's quoting Leviticus chapter 25.
