Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern make a great double bill it has to be said. The film is very much written for kids films these characters as opposed to the creepy possibly paedophilic Santa Claus in deadly games. They cast the perfect people to really give them that kind of sinister edge yes casting a good fella a gangster like you know yeah could mash your head in if you wanted to person and Joe Pesci so it kind of makes that element of the film far scarier than it could possibly have been.
