Chasing Consciousness

CHAPTER

The Science of Subjective Experience

Many hard scientists consider subject experience as basically inadmissible data, even when it's collated across large tesk groups. So i think there's a problem with the hard sciences if they don't pay attention to subjective experience. We learn a lot through psychology by athat understanding biases and perceptual cognitive r deficits - but we don't necessarily experience the world out er as it really is. And that's what william james called radical epistemology, a that er, radical empiricism. It means that we have to include our inner subjective experience because all our sense experience is passed through our consciousness.
