The Web Three of 2023

The number of parameters and a large language model has been gone up by a factor of 10 for the past several years. I think GPT-4 will have 170 trillion parameters, so 1,000 times more compared to Microsoft's 17 billion. The thing that's hard is you often don't find performance of these models on any quantitative scale as a function of number of parameters. So long story short, I think it's early days. I think there's a lot of headroom for improvement.
