I think it has been there for a long time in is tere and other ways. A lot of the historians of the fifties and sixties, i don't think they did it consciously to a great extent. This would just have been the dominant narrative at the time. And without us even realizing it, the dominant narratives do shape how we think. It sort of adds a filter in front of our eyes, and we looking at everything through that filter. 70 years into independence, if we don't start acting a little more maturely about these sensitive topics then what are we ultimately doing? We can take that risk. Are not doing it, you know, not doing
