The US Banking Sector Is at Risk of a Contagion

There is an issue that's going on in US banking at the moment as far as we can tell right now it is contained and what will support a banking system more than anything is really a fundamentally sound demand situation south of the border. I would certainly state my reputation on there being very solid demand in the housing market in the United States in the consumer market and of course by extension in business investment. So encouraging news for Canadian exporters but at the same time it sounds like when the US sneezes Canada catches the cold that we are at risk here in this country for a contagion.
