"I never felt like there was an event that i'd go into and go, o yer, this is my event. Thiss is sort of my pet event," he says. "If i could run 80% consistency for the year across all events, i'm going to be there at the end of the year with a shot at the title" 'The thing that was the most surprising to me was just how quickly i had to learn how toe properly ride the barrel am coming from the sunshine coast' He adds: 'i've probably got the most enjoyment out of finding those gains... it's been really rewarding'
