So i think the more likely interpretation is that jordan peterson is a genuine man of science, and that he practises the virtues of science that he preaches. Now, values and meaning, they are biologically, evolutionarily and pragmatically base, and that includes a functional role for religious myth,. both for us as individuals and as members of social community. And that's the truth, as best as jordanPeterson can say.
