How to Be a Better Artist
I just read an interview by these two Russian artists who they said, you know, when we were living in Soviet Russia, you would paint propaganda all week for the government. But then on the weekends, you would do your real passion work. And there was beauty in that, because there was freedom at the end of the week, you know. And then they came to America, and all of a sudden we were free. And now we just work all the time. I want everyone to have that in their life, whether they make money or not. That's what I'm trying to investigate right now. We'll see what happens.
