What Is the Return on Your Investment?
If you are writing a book that's going to generate a lot of money for you from booksales, then it's a very bad strategy. It's the worst way and worst reason to write a book. But what a book does do is it leads you to opportunities that generate a significant amount of money for your career. I want you to think about how you find opportunities to day with it your own company or within your industry. The system we have is pretty easy - most people will do more to get a salary than is required of them. Even senior clients will just do enough to get a high-paying job if they're published.
