The Role of Cultural Misperception in ADHD
It took almost 40 years for those males to get an apology. Black students represent 31% of school-related arrests, and then black students are suspended and expelled three times more than other ethnicities. And so when you think about all of the things that actually have been created, then it kind of gives you an idea of why there are so many different cultural misperceptions as well as cultural stigmas that exist for African-Americans.
