What Do You Think of Clarence Thomas?

Sally Kohn: I think there certainly is a way to have her participate in the UNC case. But they pre-empted a lot of discussion of recusal. She gave relatively short answers and did use kind of originalist catchphrases like original public meaning, which seem to broadcast real sympathy with the originalist project without committing herself to any particular methodology. It got less pick up then it should have because I thought it actually was a really good teaching moment.
