How to Make Your Tendon Stronger Long Term

Those brief quick movements stimulate the tendons to make cross links but it doesn't break many cross links because the tendons behave more like a sheet and the force is transferred quickly. If you do a lot of slow heavy loading or eccentric training you will have a net loss of cross links which reduces stiffness in the system. So if you're heading into a climbing trip you would want to do less of those long heavy like this 10 second max weight hangs.
