The Eyes of a Desert Rodent

I was looking around just a little bit this i didn't have a lot of time tu really go in depth a theodos. I was looking at papers on the eyes of desert rodents, thinking, well, perhaps there's something there. Though they wouldn't be, you know, one to one, because a desert rodent is something that has evolved over time to thrive. And i'm not sure if you could relly make the same case for a technology usinga sort of post humans on some sort of a desert world.
