Event causal can be an adjective applied to different views. So event causal is detachable from libertarianism. Event causal says it consists in a mental events and states that involve the agent causing the decision in the proper way. I think one very general reason people defend this view is a kind of principle of po we might just say something like, luk,. It's obvious that there are such things as desires, beliefs, reasons, ah. And so if we're trying to understand how agency works, why not appeal to the things that are kind of obviously for us?
