The History of the Clarion Cycling Club
The Clarion cycling club officially is launched in 1895, and I think indeed it was the only national cycling organisation that allowed women at the time. The pay belongs to 94, but there are lots of these examples of these sorts of waves of movements which weren't mixed. It's literally 1985 that women's bloomers for cycling were invented. My understanding is before that women did not have the clothes that didn't get caught up in the bike's mechanism. And there were only cycling in breaches,. There was a couple of suffragettes that were saying, well, we were cycling at night wearing breaches because we're too scared to be caught by men."
