Learning in Public Is a Great Way to Build Your Network
Finance is very zero sum. It's very, very private. In tech, I could basically broadcast everything I was doing because essentially nothing is proprietary. Most tech is like 90% open source. And we even are encouraged to tell people about failures. Because tech is positive some, there's so much blue ocean. You can also just do it internally within a company. That really shares your learnings and keeps you accountable or accelerates learning of the entire organization.
