Conservative Politics

I don't think it's necessarily true that people specifically expect spivory from conservative politicians. I think there is a built in assumption that happens but when it becomes toxic it's generally when everything else is going wrong. Then it is enraging to kind of see particularly this sort of chumminess and this sense that lots of people are kind of bailing each other out at the top. That ties together with sleaze in a way that I think is quite toxic for the party as you conceive of the polls.
