Is It Good to Be Affiliated With Unions?

A Gallup poll last year said that 71% of Americans approved of labor unions, which was actually the highest it had been since 1965. That's even after teachers unions played a role in keeping schools closed during COVID-19. Does that also suggest that unions are no longer politically divisive? Like, have we entered a new era where, like, you can't really bash unions and have that be a politically winning strategy?
