The Importance of Listening to Your Client

Most interaction designers that I meet are just interaction designers and call themselves that. They don't do a lot of the research and they perhaps don't do the prototypes. But they still want input about user preferences, needs and behaviors. And so the person providing that input is probably someone who works with UX in some way or another.
