I think finding those kinds of cases is most interesting to me to see how intertwined into these dependent realities people get. They're so desperately fighting that they throw themselves into another one and don't realize that it's a trap. It's almost like the therapeutic version of malicious compliance where I'm like, you're right, your mom can't,. sounds like she really hurts you. And then you don't say anything else and you're just like validating, agreeing. Then the fight in them starts to, they have to sit in the discomfort of it's not going to be a fight. Which means their fight part can't solve their problem this time. But sometimes yet they try it anyway
