The Aesthetic History of Rats

The aesthetic history of rats goes all the way back. There's an ASOPs fable that describes a rat as having, quote, the bad reputation all rats have. But my favorite example of rats in sort of like old lore for like their aesthetic and their vibe is the story of the Chinese zodiac. Are y'all familiar with that story? Not the story.
