Ind 2026 - Is There a Difference in Turnout?
There is another very interesting natural variation, which is that each constituency size is not the same. This is, of course, thanks to de limitation. And they have to figure this problem out in the next five years. So over here, actually, what we find is that state elections do not experience an increase and turn out when the elections are synconized. When it is clubbed with the national election, there is no difference in turnout between these two cases. But in the national elections, we do see an increase in turn out. Again, from the survey evidence, we find its uniform across all individual characteristics.
