Using Consequences to Motivate Students With a DHD
Consequences need to be delivered with more immediacy and frequency than for students without h d. If a consequence, positive or negative, doesn't seem to be motivating a student it's probably because it doesn't mean much to the student. So external consequences are a powerful tool for sustaining and feeding motivation.
