The Relationship Between Character and Action
The connection between character and action is one that is often underlined in the book of proverbs. Here we see that the person who speaks the truth gives honest evidence, and a false witness utters deceit. The words of fools and liars rapidly depreciate in value, whereas the words of the wise will greatly appreciate over time. When people are always chasing the latest fad, they will be susceptible to being led astray by lying tongues.
