The most mysterious and mystical aspect of the psyche is what Carl Jung called the unconscious. If it were possible to personify the unconscious, we might think of it as a collective human being combining characteristics of both sexes. This God lives in us, is us, and speaks to us every night through our dreams. I am in love with this two million year old being. My life in one sense is my love story with this being. Unfortunately, or rather let us say fortunately, this being dreams.
