The Power of Obedience
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. Obeying Christ's commandments is the expression of our love towards Him. And we can see in this Gospel reading that this also leads to a deeper intimacy with the Father as well. We murder people through our words and do so many things that are against the commandments - even in our minds. But who has any hope of loving Jesus? Who has any hope? Nobody!
