Is There a Left Wing Side to Basic Income?
Some of the biggest proponents of basic income who were being used by these silicon valley types are not left wingers at all. So that must come from the left, right? Yeah. And I think people like Peter Phrase, who wrote the book for futures, which is a book that I really like inventing the future. But you kind of round these all up and call them late capitalist utopians. Maybe you're using utopian in its sort of dual sense in the sense of it being a dream, but also being impossible.
