The Romantic Period in the Study of the New Testament

The New Testament is written in Koine Greek so a common Greek it's not the you know class-asizing Greek that you get from Homer or Plato. There was also a perception for a very long time that New Testament texts are somehow other that they were Jewish literature. So even today you'll have a New Testament dictionary and then you'll have your classic dictionary.
