The Woke Excess: A Review
I deliberately, in writing this book, did not want to write another litany of Woke excess. But what then has happened, it seems to me, is that it's fueled by a bunch of theoretical assumptions which are actually quite reactionary and have not been part of the traditional left at all. And even for those Woke activists who have never read a word of Michel Foucault or Karl Schmidt, those are assumptions that have gotten into the general culture.
