A Better Place by Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith's "Clerks" is a film festival movie in the sense of it's dark, it's miserable. It did not get any distribution until its director worked for a DVD company who put it out. That's the only reason it's kind of out in the world. And I think it's almost a conscious decision of trying to go against that Kevin Smith pop culture vibe.
