Is There a Mind Independent Reality?

West: We have this model within our experience of something that we know is dreaming. Maybe not literally that the waking world is dreaming, but it is similarly faulty like a dream. So you undermine the motivation for skepticism, right? It's a self-contradictory where what reason do I have to say they're actually dreams?
