How to Be a Better Developer

I think a lot of people struggle with the idea, well, I know I need to get better as a developer. But how did you know where to spend your time? There are two things that I tell people just to start with in general. One is learn something new every day and two is go implement it. Now that those can be soft skills too, right? It can be, hey, this is how I talk to people. This is how I explain things. And so on.
